Last week, Hunter's brother Adam, his wife Ramona, and their son Jakey came to visit us in Charlotte for a weekend. We had a wonderful time with them. . . they are all such great people. We were trying to show them around the city, but somehow we kept ending up in the same spots - Freedom Park,the Nature Museum and nearby shopping centers.
The first day, we did go out to the White Water Center, so Hunter and Adam could go white water rafting (which they ended up loving!!!). Shortly after arriving, Kayla fell on a big rock and got a concussion - it was quite frightening. Immediately after hitting the rock, a huge goose egg appeared on her forehead and then she passed out in my arms. Luckily, she "came to" pretty quickly. Unfortunately, we had to spend the rest of the afternoon in the doctor's office and Emergency Room to get a CAT scan, but everything came back normal and by evening she was back

We had a ton of fun seeing all of you when we visited a couple of weeks ago. The Charlotte area was beautiful, and definitely different than San Diego. It was so great to see Jake and Kayla playing together - they are both growing up so quickly. We hope we get to see you guys soon....come out to SD for a visit if the humidity gets to be too much this summer!
