Happy Halloween!
Halloween Eve, we had a great time at our church's Trunk or Treat - lots of fun activities.
Halloween morning, Kayla and I went to the "Halloween Spectacular with Dan Kamin" from the Lollipops Charlotte Symphony concert - it was a wonderful concert with plenty of entertainment to keep the children's attention.
Later in the day, we went to our neighbors for pizza and cake before a night of trick or treating. As soon as it came to go out, the rain started coming down. But that didn't stop them and they still had a blast. However, I think Kayla's favorite part of the night was after she got home - as we let her hand out the candy to the trick or treaters that came to our door. She loves to be in charge (especially when there is food involved)!
Kayla was Sleeping Beauty.
Luke was a Giraffe (or maybe it was a pony-not quite sure - but it was only $5).

And who is the "dude" in the middle of the Princess and the Giraffe? All three are adorable, well, two of them anyway. When you said that Kayla loved handing out candy, at first I thought you were going to say, she handed out HER Halloween candy. That would be doubly generous.
So glad you had the time to send the two blogs...with photos. Luke is looking like a three year old!!! Can't wait to play with them in a few weeks...mom
