Last weekend we drove up to Baltimore, MD and stayed at my parent's house. We enjoyed visiting with my parents (Grammy Shar-Shar and Papa), my brother (Matt) and two of his children (Ella and Ethan), as well as my sister (Ashley) and her husband (Dan). . . it was tons of fun.
We did lots of kiddy things: Chuck e Cheese, Maryland Science Center, Pumpkin Patch, park, and of course ate lots of junk food. But we managed to squeeze in a lunch without the kids. . . we sat at a table overlooking the Chesapeake Bay eating crabcake sandwiches. Time felt like it stood still since we didn't have any children to take care of while we ate. . . ahhhh! And afterwards, my mom, Ashley, and I went to see the Secret Life of Bees. . . I really enjoyed it. . . they compiled all of the tear jerking parts from the book into the movie . . . needless to say, we cried through the whole thing.
Here are some pics of the weekend:
Papa and Baby Luke
Don't squash the pumpkins!!! Ethan, Ella, and Kayla.
Which Way Should I Go? (Kayla started the kid maze a couple minutes after Ethan and Ella . She got a little nervous when she realized she couldn't see them. Luckily, Ethan rescued her and she then chased him out of the maze.)

Love those googley eyes!! Great summary of our time together. But don't forget the Polka Dots that came to visit! Hmmm hopefully we won't have to send the Calamine Lotion over for Luke or Kayla.
Yea! I'm so glad you had a good time! Those pics made me homesick for Maryland! And Luke is growing up so fast! What a cutie pie sitting on his grandpa's lap!
