Lauren. . . our not so little "baby"

So we mainly call Lauren nicknames like "baby", "bits", or "baby bits" . . .in fact, when people ask me her name, I often have to think for a second as we rarely call her by her name.  When Lauren Cassidy was first born, Luke was always so good at saying her name "Wauren Tassidy" but when someone asked him what her name was the other day . . .he said "Baby". . . woops!  

 But we are going to have to come up with some new nicknames as she is 7 months old and is getting so big. . . she weighs over 18 pounds, her head circumference is over 18", and she is almost 28" tall! 

She is growing up in so many ways.  She is a smiley baby. . .she smiles at everyone!  It is a little harder to get her to giggle. . .you usually have to tickle her tummy with her feet to really get her going . . .but when she giggles, it is sooo cute.  She loves to makes sounds . .. she has mastered the high-pitch squeal (excited)as well as a very low-pitched grunt (mad).

She has learned to roll from her back to her stomach and she is finally starting to play a little bit while laying on her stomach (last week she would just scream as soon as she rolled over).  She loves her feet . . . she is constantly holding them and trying to put them in her mouth so she can suck on her toes.  She has just started eating baby food. . .but isn't quite catching on . . .she'd rather suck on her fingers:-)  She loves to sleep at night (13-14 hours waking up once a night for a bottle) but she only takes a couple 20 minute naps in the day, so I really need to start getting up early to get more things done.  Last but not least, she is starting to grab things... her favorite thing to grab is my hair...let me tell you, she has quite the grip!!!!

She is just such a fun baby . . .  we all love our Lauren.
