We went to Salt Lake City, UT and Alpine/Jackson Hole, WY for a 10-day vacation. We had a wonderful time hanging out with all of the Gicklings.
We spent the majority of time in Wyoming so the men could fish their hearts out. Here are a couple of the fish Hunter caught. . . the first one was 7+ pounds - needless to say he was excited!
Kayla must have Hunter's talent as she caught a fish too!
One of the highlights of the week was seeing the cast from Modern Family, one of our favorite shows. . ."Claire and Phil Dunphy" were nice enough to take a picture with us in the Jackson Hole park.
Kayla and I took a carriage ride around Jackson Hole. Kayla loved the ride but she is so glad we have cars.
We watched the Jackson Hole shootout twice. The first time Kayla was so scared as she didn't know it was pretend . . .so the second time she liked it a lot better!
We enjoyed the food, shopping, and atmosphere of Jackson Hole. Here are the kids sitting on President Lincoln.
Campfire night was one of Kayla's favorites. . . do you think this log will work as firewood?

We also loved spending the day in Grand Teton National Park. . .we loved the lakes, mountains, waterfalls, hiking, and views.
After returning to Salt Lake City, Hunter and I celebrated our 11th anniversary at the Grand America hotel. Such a beautiful hotel with great landscaping and views of the city and the Little America steakhouse dinner was absolutely scrumptious.
We had a wonderful time and we enjoyed walking around the city and seeing the temple and other beautiful buildings.
We were sad to have to leave. . . but it was time for Kayla to return home and start first grade! Here she is on her first day.
We hope she has a great year!

What a fun trip to end the summer! I keep forgetting that your pregnant and love to see the pictures of you and your belly! So fun and exciting! Glad the travels were so fun!
