Birthday Celebrations

My kiddos birthdays are two days apart, so needless to say we've been hearing a lot of "happy birthdays" around my house lately.

For Luke's birthday, we went to the nature museum and had a picnic at the park.  For dinner, we met the grandparents at Burger King - pretty fancy, huh?! :-)

For Kayla's birthday, we started the day with a yummy pancake breakfast and opened presents.  We ended the day with Kayla's Pajama Birthday Party where she and her friends had pizza, cupcakes, broke open a pinata, played games, and decorated little tote bags.

But you know us, we can't stop there . . . we had another family party for their birthdays the next week.  It was fun to have both Grammies and Papa Howard there to celebrate with us.  Since Luke didn't get a proper dessert on his birthday - we made him a truck cake with "dirt" piles. . .yummy!!

And of course, there were more presents . . .

Happy Birthday!

Our favorite two Funny Bunnies, celebrating birthdays, two days apart. One jovial celebration. Molly you one upped Julie Childs with the beautiful birthday cake...a treat for the eyes and the tummy. The children are at such a delightful stage in life...watching them is better than going to the movies!!!
