We had a great time at Disney world! We went to all four parks...and loved all of them, but Epcot and Magic Kingdom, were the overall winners. It was the perfect trip at the perfect time - the food was yummy, the weather was great, the parks were magical, and we all just had a blast.
Here's a picture of us with Hunter's parents on our last day at Disney.
Since we crammed so much into our trip, I don't even know where to begin.
So I'll just point out a few of our favorites.
Here's my favorite Princess!
She is all dressed up to go to breakfast with Alice in Wonderland.
Here's our favorite Disney princess.. .Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). She was so cute and sweet with Kayla. She spent at least 10 minutes talking with Kayla and even helped her find her lost Tinkerbell pen.
Kayla's favorite ride was Splash Mountain.
She went on it 5 times and got splashed every time.
Luke couldn't go on Splash Mountain, so we introduced him to the resort's splash park. The resort had so many nice pools and the hot tub felt great after a long day at Disney.
We were all amazed by how well the parks are maintained - everything was so pristine and well manicured. And Epcot's flower displays were amazing.
Here is my favorite picture of the kids as they were all smiles. After a sunrise-to-sundown day at Magic Kingdom, Kayla said "This is the BEST day ever!!"
To make sure Luke kept his smile through the night parade and fireworks. . .
we gave him some cotton candy . . . and needless to say, it worked!!
Aah!
But nothing captures the Magic of Disney better than Cinderella's castle.
Kayla liked the purple hue the best.
So we did our best to get a good photo of our family in front of the castle. And unfortunately, this was one of the best! Oh well, maybe we'll get a better photo next time. 'Til then - farewell Disney!

Oh so fun! I'm glad you had such a great time and that the trip was a success! It looks like an awesome time! I'm not even sure my kids would know what to do in such a place :-)
Luke with pink cotton candy on his new "photograph-time" grin; Kayla beaming in every shot, what a strong visual reminder of how special this time was as a family and with Cathy and Ed. Like Kayla said, "Grammy you are going with us when I turn 7!!!!" Sign us up.
