'Tis the Season

Kayla is loving this Holiday Season! She has made tons of cookies, attended the Nutcracker, performed lots of charitable acts for others, made pretty Christmas cards, and sung her favorite Christmas carols. She is beginning to understand the true meaning of Christmas.
Of course, she hasn't forgotten about Santa Claus and that drum she has asked for. Jingle, her "Elf on the Shelf", is keeping an eye on her to see if she is naughty or nice. . . Kayla loves searching around for Jingles each morning as Jingles leaves during the middle of the night to go report to Santa how Kayla was that day and comes back the next morning in a different spot.

(This is the Elf of the Shelf Book that came with Jingles!)

(This is Jingles!)

Kayla had her preschool Christmas show today where they belted out a bunch of different Christmas songs and afterwards we ate so many Christmas cookies our tummies ached.

A couple days ago, Kayla and Luke got to open their first Christmas presents as Grammy Cathy came to visit! We had lots of fun with grammy and they love their first Christmas presents.
