We finally broke out the fire pit, which was Hunter's birthday present (his birthday is in October). It was a chilly night, but the fire kept us warm and the smores were DELICIOUS!
This past weekend, I took Kayla uptown to see the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" . . .it was a beautiful day out so we first walked around the park across the street. When we entered the theater, Kayla was so excited that we were in the middle of the front row - it was a little close for me, but it was still an amazing performance.
Kayla loved meeting Sleeping Beauty . . .this is still her favorite princess! I love this matinee series as you get to meet all of the main dancers afterwards, they sign a poster (which Kayla left behind), and the kids get a snack! The meet-in-greet is just as fun for the kids as watching the ballet.
