Our Graduate

Kayla graduated from kindergarten last week.   For her class's year-end presentation, they cited poems and sang songs.  In addition, each child talked about the things they learned in kindergarten and received a certificate of completion from their teacher, Mrs. Bensch.

Here is Kayla on her last day of school. . . going to school . . . she was excited!
and coming home from school on the hot non-airconditioned bus after a fun-filled luau day!

We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating her graduation.  First came the "Worms in the Dirt" cupcake...

Then a trip to Carowinds. . .
Followed by a yummy brunch at Flying Biscuit with the grandparents. . . (Kayla picked the restaurant not me. . .I promise!)
Good job Kayla!
Now we are all ready for a fun summer together!
