A couple weeks ago we went to Hilton Head with Hunter's family. The first day at the beach everyone was so excited to get into the warm ocean water until everyone started getting stung by jellyfish.
This last picture is Luke's leg. . . he wasn't very deep in the water when a jellyfish wrapped around his legs. The worst part was a week later when he had an allergic reaction and we had to take him to the doctors and put him on steroids/antibiotics. . . those darn jellyfish.
Despite the rough start . . . we had a great week.
The rest of the week we swam in the pool . . .
We toured the island by bike (while our kids took a nap). . .
We ate at a lot of great restaurants (thanks to the older cousins for watching the younger cousins). . .
We ate ice cream and played at the splash park . . .
We went kayaking. . . .
And we still spent a ton of time on the beach, despite the jellyfish!!!
Hunter did a lot of fishing. . .
While the rest of us basked in the sun and played with the kids. . .
Thanks everyone for making it such a great trip! We miss you all.

Except for the jelly fish damage (that looks really awful!) it looks like a lot of fun! What a great time!
ouch! That looks nasty. Good for you guys to not let it ruin your good time. The rest of the trip looked wonderful!
