Just Having Fun

The past two Saturday mornings, Hunter and I have taken turns going to the temple, which has been a nice spiritual boost for both of us. But the kids start to get a little rambunctious if we don't get them out of the house on Saturdays, so here are pics from our last two Saturday afternoon adventures:

The Air Show
Last Saturday, Hunter took Kayla to this annual Monroe Airshow...they had a great time, except for the air raid which was a little noisy and scary for our Kayla.
Morrow Mountain State Park
Yesterday, we drove about an hour to get to this state park, which is the only mountain (hill if you are from the west) around. But it is beautiful as it overlooks Lake Tillery and the Pee Dee River. We took a whopping 7/10 mile hike, which was actually plenty with our two little ones, that enabled us to get some great views.
Play Date
This photo doesn't have anything to do with our Saturday adventures, but with a little play date Luke had. I just got a kick out of watching them play ball and chase - they were so darn cute.
